Morning Acoustics

Waking up and looking outside the window today, I knew it would be a slow-paced, yet calming Thursday. So what better way to get into the peaceful mood than with some amazing morning acoustics? Although I tend to listen to a lot of indie rock and pop music, there's no denying that acoustic songs are beautifully simple. I love the reminiscent atmosphere these songs can give off, and of course, the way they can make me feel like i'm the main star of a romantic film. Here are a few songs I love to listen to on calm mornings that you'll probably fall in love with, as well:



1. Warm Foothills- alt-j (this song actually makes me feel like i'm laying in a field of flowers)

2. Old Pine- Ben Howard (all of his songs are amazing for mornings)

3. You Already Know- Bombay Bicycle Club (the type of song you'd listen to on a sunny day)

4. Holocene- Bon Iver (his songs are, hands down, the most peaceful)

5. Amsterdam- Gregory Alan Isakov (probably my favorite indie folk singer)

6. Big Black Car- Gregory Alan Isakov

7. Lost In My Mind- The Head and the Heart (hmm I wonder where I got my blog title inspiration from)

8. Like Real People Do- Hozier (everyone knows Hozier, and everyone should love Hozier)

9. Cherry Wine- Hozier

10. Such Great Heights- Iron and Wine (I can fall asleep to this song in a minute)

11. Naked as We Came- Iron and Wine

12. The Trapeze Swinger- Iron and Wine

13. Dreamer- Isbells (also a song that makes you want to run through a field of wheat)

14. Heartbeats- Jose Gonzalez

15. Everyone Single George Ezra song... his voice is heavenly

16. Bloom- The Paper Kites (very woods-like vibes)

17. Georgia- Vance Joy

18. Welcome Home, Son- Radical Face (not as soft sounding as the other songs, but still beautifully put together)

19. Ivy and Gold- Bombay Bicycle Club

20. Soul Meets Body- Death Cab For Cutie (probably my favorite Death Cab song)
